For the avoidance of confusion I am hoping to reopen for Friday 12th February...but who knows?! That date is available to book online. If anything changes then I will keep you informed

Firstly apologies for the clinic not being open, its really frustrating but we all must do our bit.
According to the COVID-19 (WORKPLACE RESTRICTIONS) (JERSEY) ORDER 2020 (specifically names Botox Clinics) we need to be closed until Wednesday 20th January. After that you can book an appointment, with the earliest clinic being Friday 22nd January.
Naturally we will be taking all necessary COVID precautions and in the meantime keep exfoliating and moisturising!

Clients will attest to the clinical nature of my practice. It is a medical procedure in my eyes and therefore needs to be treated that way. To be fair other than the use of an apron, my clinical hygiene standards haven't needed to change.
Before clients arrive in the room (wearing a mask having alcohol gelled their hands), screening questions are asked, including "any new symptoms of any form in the past 5 days". Result of screening questions is documented.
If those screening questions are passed then we go through a double door section before the clients mask is removed within a clean air room - this same room is used for surgical procedures by the doctors at CQ and by one of my surgeon colleagues at the hospital.
I will be wearing PPE throughout the consultation.
The consultation is at a safe distance and then the procedure is carried out (which takes 1-2 minutes).
Afterwards contactless payment is taken (iPhone/Android) or a wipe clean card interface is used. Again at distance.
Once the client leaves, the booking system allows for a full five minutes before the next scheduled client comes in. This allows for the clean air room to change the air before the next client.
All client contact surfaces are cleaned down with the same wipes used in hospital.
Every clinic has a digital contact list automatically generated at booking: holding email and telephone contact incase contact tracing required.
This is a pre-emptive decision taken by the practice manager and myself to ensure that we meet demand prior to a potential mini-lockdown.
The booking system will allow you to book other Thursdays in the future- don't! It will also allow you to book other Friday mornings in the future - don't!
This is B@CastleQuay responding to a sudden change in the potential market demand.
I keep no files digitally regarding clients treatment. In the past I did but actually there was little use for this data.
All clinical notes are kept on old fashioned paper hand written notes. These allow for far more detailed notes to be made and I have explored new electronic patient records but in all fairness they just don't beat the standard of my own notation.
All notes are stored securely within the practice office within a locked cabinet.
In summer 2020 I wrote to every client past and present to ensure that they were happy for me to continue keeping their notes. Those that wanted them destroyed and being removed from an email list were honoured. I will repeat this exercise every 2 years.
Booking data is kept on an encrypted cloud system: this contains email addresses and telephone numbers. Access is only via fingerprint to this system. I am the only individual that can access this system.
Emails, Whatsapp messages, and Messages via Facebook are also stored behind a fingerprint locked system and are deleted once responded to.
Finally group emails are sent via a confidential online cloud system that again I only have access to and not via a standard computer based email program - I pay for additional security protection of this system.
I pay for additional security on my business computer and elect to use Apple OSX (with antiviral/malware to reduce risk even further) - (I am not convinced PC/Microsoft offer any reliable form of antiviral/malware/hacker protection).
